Wes Adams represents the third generation of a mining family that has owned and operated Coal, Uranium and Gold Mines in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Guyana, South America. He started his career in Guyana, as project operations manager for ETK Inc., a privately owned gold exploration company, which discovered and developed the multi-million ounce Toroparu Gold Deposit. ETK went public in 2009 via a reverse take-over of TSX Venture Exchange listed Sandspring Resources. At Sandspring, Adams served as Investor Relations Manager and assisted in raising nearly $100M CDN in public equity offerings over the course of five years. In 2014, Adams left Sandspring to pursue opportunities in the oil and gas sector and founded Energy Fuels Environmental, LLC, a privately owned energy services company operating in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. After three successful years, he negotiated the sale of his company’s assets to a multi-billion dollar NYSE listed midstream energy operator.
